Coming This Sunday:
February 26th @ 10:30 a.m.
"I'm fine, no really, I'm fine."
Sermon by Reverend David Shaw
All are welcome to join us after worship in Fellowship Hall for coffee, treats, and good conversation at 11:30 a.m.
Adult and Youth Education Classes happen every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. - new members welcome!
Adult Education Class You are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the upstairs classroom for our combined Adult and Youth Christian Education Class. This class will center on the "Nooma" videos made by Rob Bell. These videos help bring matters of faith close to home in a way that is interesting for people of all ages and will allow for youth and adults to share their faith together. We're also hoping that this time will allow for firmer connections to be made between youth and adults as we begin to get ready for Confirmation class for our youth next year. The adults will be integral to the confirmation process as they mentor and share their life experiences with the youth of CWW. For now though, head up to the center classroom at 9:30 on Sundays for some exciting and interesting dialogue! | February Calendar "The 10585": Our Monthly Newsletter

New Reiki Massage
Gwen Duncan-Green, one of our longtime church and community members, is pleased to offer new Reiki Massage sessions at the Church in the Wildwood! Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress-reduction and relaxation - and it promotes physical and emotional healing as well. Please contact Gwen at 684-2513 to set up an appointment - your first session will be free! As you are bustling around, taking care of others during this holiday season, don't forget to take care of your own well-being, too!
Wildwood Food Pantry
The Church in the Wildwood Food Pantry is open every Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM. All are welcome at this table! If you or your neighbor need any help, please contact the church office for more information about the pantry.
It is winter and many families are feeling the pressure of increased heating costs. Please remember these families this winter - if you have extra non-perishables or can spare a donation on your next trip to the grocery store, bring it in to the Pantry! As always, we would like to extend our deepest thanks and appreciation for your faithful support of the Wildwood Food Pantry. We look forward to continuing to serve our friends and neighbors! To find out about volunteering, please contact the church at 684-9427.
SCRIP now Available for Purchase
If you've wanted to help your church financially, but weren't sure how you could give more, Church in the Wildwood has partnered with Great Lakes Scrip (www.glscrip.com) to help you do just that! Pick up your order forms in the bookkeepers office and review the list of merchants on the tri-fold display or at the Great Lakes Scrip website.
It's easy! All you have to do is purchase scrip (which work just like gift cards) through the church office and when you do, the church receives a percentage of your purchase. Let's say you spend $500 a month at Safeway. Instead of paying with cash, you can purchase scrip and about a week after you order yours, it will be ready for you to pick up at church. You then may spend that $500 over a month, or two, or three, at Safeway and use your Scrip cards instead of cash or your credit card. By doing so the church receives 4%, or $20, just because you shopped for groceries!
